"Во имя мира и прогресса": украинская делегация на конференции в Сан-Франциско

Abstract

В статье показано участие украинской делегации на конференции в Сан-Франциско. Подчеркнуто участие представителей УССР во всех комиссиях и комитетах, занимающихся разработкой основных положений Устава Организации Объединенных Наций. = The article shows participation of the Ukrainian delegation in the conference in San Francisco. It focuses on complexities to be overcome by the delegation on the way to the place of conference, discloses general atmosphere in which the representatives of the Ukrainian SSR found themselves. It underlines participation of the Ukrainian SSR representatives in all commissions and committees, engaged in the development of the UN Charter principal provisions with emphasis being placed on that the initiatives, put forward by their Ukrainian diplomats, showed their relevance and necessity for all the peoples of the world as they were tested by decades and did not lose their significance at present stage. The author arrives at an important conclusion that the results of the conference, held in San Francisco, should be viewed as triumph of the post-war diplomacy, gained in the name of peace and progress.
