Первый всеукраинский съезд деятелей изобразительного искусства (1918 г.)

Abstract

Цель данной статьи - охарактеризировать предпосылки, ход, основные решения и значение первого Всеукраинского съезда деятелей изобразительного искусства в г. Киеве (июнь 1918 г.). = Activity of Ukrainian creative intelligentsia as for organization and holding the First All Ukrainian Congress of figures of fine art in the city of Kyiv (June 9–16, 1918) in the times of Ukrainian state of hetman P. Sagaidachnyi is presented in the article. On the basis of periodical press of the revolutionary times, general course and the work of the forum have been reconstructed, the content of the main reports, resolutions of the Congress have been analyzed. Special attention is paid to the art exhibition of the members of All Ukrainian society of the figures of plastic art, which was an important component of the congress. Key directions of artistic education reform in the conditions of national and cultural revival are examined, the role and functions of painters under the revolutionary conditions, the meaning of national traditions in cultural development of Ukraine is determined. Creative work of the most prominent representatives of Ukrainian fine art of the first revolutionary years is characterized in the article.
