Художник и педагог А. А. Чмиль: некоторые аспекты преподавательской деятельности и творчества

Abstract

В статье рассматриваются некоторые этапы биографии, учебы, аспекты педагогической и творческой деятельности преподавателя и художника Анатолия Аксентьевича Чмиля. В поле зрения и научного анализа оказались особенности преподавания (на протяжении почти четырех с половиной десятилетий) масляной живописи на художественно-графическом факультете Витебского государственного педагогического института имени С. М. Кирова и Витебского государственного университета имени П. М. Машерова. = Some aspects of the Biography, studies, pedagogical and art activities of the teacher and artist Anatoli Aksentyevich Chmil are considered in the article. Features of teaching oil painting at the Art Faculty of Vitebsk State Pedagogical Institute (VSPRI) and Vitebsk State University (VSU) are centered round and analyzed. A graduate of the Art Faculty of Leningrad State Pedagogical Institute A. A. Chmil taught in the manifold team of the Fine Arts Department, where disciples of different art institutions of the USSR were presented, during over forty years. The artist himself was an important component in the bright and unique community – the teachers of the Fine Arts Department. In 2013 А. А. Chmil left the Department after giving bigger part of his life to it. The text also dwells upon stylistic aspects of fine arts and graphic works by the artist as well as their thematic directions. The research materials are based on documents, memoirs and thoughts of the artist teacher himself, of his colleagues and students.
