Abstract:	In order to prevent suicide among the elderly, psychological support should be provided to them. It is important to give pensioners the opportunity to feel needed, to find some kind of hobby. Various circles, clubs and sections are useful in this regard, there pensioners can communicate with each other and exchange experiences. The role of social services is also important.
