Регистрация церквей, приходских общин и духовенства Русской православной церкви в БССР во второй половине 1940-х гг.: особенности применения законодательства

Abstract

Цель статьи - выявление особенностей применения религиозного законодательства в процессе регистрации церквей, приходских общин и духовенства РПЦ в БССР во второй половине 1940-х гг. = The article highlights the features of the registration of churches, parish communities and the clergy of the Russian Orthodox Church in BSSR in the second half of the 1940s. Based on the analysis of legal acts of the Soviet government and archival materials, the procedure of registration of churches, the opening of temples due to applications of the communities, the return of public buildings occupied by communities during the occupation are demonstrated. The author also reports about the process of creating and registration of the church executive organs and about contracts on transferring prayer houses and church property to parishes. The article deals with the procedure of registration of the clergy. The author notes the value of “Regulations on the Administration of the Russian Orthodox Church in 1945”, analyzes its application in the parishes. Conclusion is made that while the registration of churches, parishes and the clergy in Belorussian SSR, Soviet legislation was applied considering local conditions of church life.
