Abstract

The article is dedicated to the problem of studying the phenomenon offascination and its role in intra-settlement nomination. The article clarifies the means of fascination that contribute to the acceptance of the message of the nominators of Belarusian streets, alleys, squares and other intra-settlement objects. The signs of fascinating signals possessed by urbanonymy, viconymy, hortensionymy - fascinating language — are determined, which is very important for interaction and mutual understanding in the nominative communication of former and modern inhabitants of the country’s settlements. It is emphasized that this direction of research into the human nature and into the nature of society may be useful for those who are interested in the laws and secrets of not only biological and social, but also onomastic communication.
