dc.description.abstract	The article is devoted to the research of 2019 on the village and burial mound-1 of the archaeological complex near the village of Staroe Selo of the Vitebsk district. The carried out researches made it possible to establish that unfortified settlement of the settlement was inhabited no later than the middle – third quarter of the 1st millennium AD. The differences in the ceramic complexes testify to a mixed composition of the population. The village functioned until the 10th–11th centuries. The burial ground, which appeared on an empty plot next to the village, also functioned for quite a long time and the first burials in it appeared at the end of the third quarter.	ru_RU
