Abstract

В статье анализируется параметрический дизайн как новое направление в искусстве, как процесс, основанный на алгоритмическом мышлении, который позволяет выражать параметры и правила, определяющие, кодирующие и проясняющие взаимосвязь между замыслом проекта и окончательным вариантом решения. Параметрический дизайн - это парадигма в дизайне, где связь между элементами используется для управления и информирования о конструкции сложных геометрий и структур. Основой параметрического проектирования является генерация геометрии из определенного набора исходных параметров и создание формальных связей, вступающих во взаимодействие друг с другом. Речь идет об использовании переменных и алгоритмов для создания иерархии математических и геометрических решений, способствующих определенному дизайну. = This article analyzes parametric design as a new direction in art. Parametric design is a process based on algorithmic thinking that enables the expression of parameters and rules that, together, define, encode and clarify the relationship between design intent and design response. Parametric design is a paradigm in design where the relationship between elements is used to manipulate and inform the design of complex geometries and structures. The ground of parametric design is the generation of geometry from the definite family of initial parameters and design of the formal relations they keep with each other. It is about the use of variables and algorithms to generate a hierarchy of mathematical and geometric relations that allow you to generate a certain design. Parametric design is fundamental when minimizing the effort needed to create and test design variants. Parametric thinking introduces the shift in the mindset between the search for a specific static and formal solution, and the design of specific stages and factors used to achieve it. It is the shift from using CAD software as a representation tool, to do it as a design tool.
