Топоним Остромечево и его производные в ономастическом пространстве Брестчины

Abstract

В статье рассматривается топоним Остромечево и его производные, образующие ономастическую подсистему. = Toponym Ostromechevo and its derivatives that form a special onomastics subsystem are analyzed in the present article. The analyzed subsystem is the reflection of the language processes characterizing lexical creativity, or so-called artificial nomination. This subsystem is characterized by its openness and onymous variety, and it is presented by ten categories of proper names based on the nature of the named object. The ways of formation of the derivatived onyms are described in the article. The focus on the national and cultural semantics of the studied proper names is emphasized.
